FCF Minimize

Julian.jpg

The Frontiersmen Camping Fellowship (FCF) is another aspect of the Royal Rangers ministry to boys that uses the historical context of the pre-1840s fur trade era. Through chapter (district) traces and territorial (regional) and national rendezvous boys and men have the opportunity to participate in camps set in this historical context. FCF also participates in missions efforts through Pathfinders and the Trappers Brigade program.

Wilderness Vigil
The purpose of the Wilderness Vigil is to provide a challenge to FCF members that will help them to develop advanced frontier skills and build a stronger relationship with Christ. Wilderness members become mentors to other FCF members and Royal Rangers who wish to strengthen their skills and become closer to Christ.

The National Scout representing the Plainsmen Territory is Zack 'Oso' Evans from the Jed Smith Chapter. The Plainsmen Territorial Scout is Allen 'Snake Bite' Elrod from the Indian Nation Chapter.

2008 National Rendezvous
Plan now to attend the 2008 National Rendezvous. It will be held in Eagle Rock, MO July 14-18, 2008. This will be a great time to bring the Young Bucks from your outpost to an outstanding rendezvous experience. The theme for our rendezvous is "Sojourners in a Foreign Land." Come and let the Holy Spirit stoke the fire in your heart as you fellowship with FCF members from across the nation.
